Chapter 33 Don’t Want to Teach This Type of Students

In this world if one were to talk about the ranking of humans with heart made of stone, if Song Ye admitted to be in second place, no one dared to say that they were first in that ranking.

When Yun Hua was still immersed in the feeling of killing someone, Song Ye had drove her to the department shop to do some shopping. Since it was such a long time since she last experienced the life in the city, the bright atmosphere had her feeling nervous.

Song Ye on the other hand acted like nothing was up and after walking for one round, she placed the few sets of clothing in her hand onto her,

“Go and try it.”

Yun Hua blankly looked at her. She can still smell the gunpowder on their body due to how close they were. That smell had reminded her of the fact that they had killed someone half an hour ago.

Having the hand drenched with blood a moment before and now shopping as if nothing was up. It was something that only someone as weird as Song Ye would be able to do at this point. From the moment she met her, Yun Hua had felt that she was different from others.

When the car slowly stopped in front of the jewellery shop, Yun Hua carried a bag of clothing while still not back to her senses.

Song Ye bent over to help her unbuckle the seat belt and console her with a soft voice,

“Everyone only has one life and there’s a lot of stuff that can be done. So, you don’t need to keep on delving into your past.”

Yun Hua raise her head to look at the girl in front of her. Even though she looked to be around fifteen to sixteen years old with a voice that sound child-like, her eyes seemed as if she had been through all sorts of hardships. When that person was about to back off, she promptly grabbed onto the girl’s arm and asked in a low voice,

“Song Ye, can I follow you?”

“Hmm?”

Song Ye was surprised for a moment before regaining her sense. But she had looked at her deeply and asked back,

“Do you understand what it means to follow me?”

Shocked by the deep and low voice asking her this question, Yun Hua’s body shook a little, feeling scared for reasons unknown. But in the end, she firmly nodded her head,

“Song Ye, I understand that you are no normal human, so whatever you do might be beyond human comprehension. But I want to follow you, I want to be like you, to be even more stronger than anyone else.”

From the moment she pulled the trigger, she knew what she wanted. She was not afraid that what lies beyond will be a sea of fire or a path filled with blades, but was afraid that she will forever be stuck in the mud, unable to get away from it.

And Song Ye was her sole hope.

Facing the wishful gaze, Song Ye did not nod her head just like that. She silently turned her gaze towards the end of the street,

“If you follow me, the road ahead won’t be a smooth one.”

At that time, she was forced to walked onto this road filled with blood and had wished in her heart countless times that she could turn back to the way she was before,

“You need to think this through properly and tell me only then. I will give you three days to do so.”

The pretext of her saving Yun Hua was hoping that she would lead a normal and peaceful life. She had never wanted her to follow her and have a bloodied life.

When she dropped the sentence, it was not discussed any further. Song Ye went out of the car and sent her back into the shop and turned to head towards the gymnasium.

It was Friday, and after leaving the school for two days, Song Ye felt that if she didn’t appear, Tang Mei Ling and her companion will take this chance to poke her in the back. And so, when the bell signifying first period rang, she stepped in with her pair of white shoes under the gazes that were either out of shock or taken aback.

After the silent gazes that were in sync, the class immediately became rowdy.

“How shameless can she be to appear in the school after causing such a huge ruckus.”

“Yeah, if it was me, I would not dare to come to school anymore since it will make me be the joke of the year.”

“Eh, I thought I heard that she had quit school? I even heard the class rep asking the teacher if they should have her seat removed.”

No matter how they tried to lower their voice, Song Ye’s hearing was sensitive so she can still hear them and processed most part of the information. When she heard that Tang Mei Ling wanted to have her seat removed, she raised her brow and was sure that she and Song Ting Ting were in it together; or else, it would be impossible for her to know what the Song family had in mind.

And Tang Mei Ling’s face was very dark. The good mood that she had with much difficulty in the morning had turned sour the moment she saw Song Ye’s face.

Other than her, there was another person that did not welcome the arrival of Song Ye.

“Song Ye, take your book and stand outside of the class. From now on, you don’t need to attend my classes anymore.”

Upon entering the classroom and seeing the shadow of someone in the corner of the classroom, the homeroom teacher was confused for a moment. In these two days, she had heard that Song Ye would quit school and was happy at the fact that she could get rid of a troublemaker, that drags her feet and was even waiting for the class to end so that she could have her seat removed from the class. But before she can even enact her thoughts, that person just appeared grandiosely. Remembering the roughness of Lu Lan and the rudely arrogance of Song Ye, the homeroom teacher did not even bother to be courteous and chased her out of her class the moment she reached the podium.

A new day had just begun and the third year’s fifth class had begun with a heavy atmosphere.

Everyone had held their breathe in and waiting to watch yet another amusing drama. Waiting for the female lead to hugged her bag and cried pitifully while dashing out of the classroom. At their age, no one dared to openly challenge the teachers, and no girls will not cry at such a severe scolding.

While Song Ye had stood up like what everyone had anticipated, no tears can be found in her eyes and her gaze was as guiltless as it had appeared. Standing there, she questioned the teacher,

“I wonder what did I do wrong. So wrong to the point the teacher had gone through such lengths as to not allowing me to attend classes right before the entrance exam.”

Although she had felt that it would not make any difference whether she listened to the class or not, she did not want others to think that she’s the one to go for when one wants to bully someone.

The homeroom teacher was unable to refute that and so her face darkened,

“Running away from your house, skipping classes with no valid reasons. I don’t want to teach a student that has such a bad attitude.”

“Oh?”

Song Ye’s pitch slightly raised and the corner of her lips showed a cold smile,

“I never knew that the teacher can just outright decide whether they want to teach or not to teach. I guess I should go and confirm it with the headmaster of the fact that if the teacher chose not to teach, will I be guaranteed to head to Shi Yi Zhong.”

She had repeated the words “teach” and “not to teach” a few times as if it were a tongue twister and it all ended with the homeroom teacher stimulated to the point her face became red and slammed her hand onto the podium,

“Song Ye, don’t you dare utter nonsense here. With your talent in study and your attitude, I’m sure that no one will go against my decision to chase you out of the class.”

“Talent and attitude?”

Song Ye slowly clutched onto the contradiction in her words and began to counterattack with a casual air,

“I have only heard of those that teach indiscriminately and those that acted first in fear that they will be left behind. And on to the case of my family and I – I did not come to school because it was permitted by the teacher to deal with my family matter. It was something that you said yourself, did you forget about it?”

“You…”

The homeroom teacher gritted her teeth and was so angry she could barely breathe properly nor could she refute to that.

She really hated Song Ye’s sharp tongue and ability to make a sound argument, hated how she never back off and always challenged her. And now, she had even made her unable to brush over the situation.

During the time both of them were facing off, a shadow suddenly stood up and a sharp voice can be heard,

“Teacher, don’t let this anger you so much that it affect your health. The entrance exam is near and if Song Ye wanted to listen to the class, just let her be so that she won’t come and complain by chance she was unable to make it. Everyone know about her academic performance. Even if she had studied diligently without sleeping, she won’t be able to make it into Shi Yi Zhong. So, don’t be so angry about it.”

Akiha: *grabs the shoulder of everyone* Can you see? The epitome of an asshole of a teacher that can’t differentiate personal and work business, being shot down, and another idiot that’s going to have their face slapped in a magnificent way?~ *hands swiping across the air slowly*

Yalin: What a horrible teacher. I hope YH doesn’t follow SY, she doesn’t need that life but now that she wants in, I hope it doesn’t mess her up or have her backstab SY.
